💼 Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- Location: Niagara Region (including St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Port Colborne and surrounding areas)
- Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
- Shifts: Day, evening, and weekend availability required
🧡 Responsibilities
As a PSW with Advanta Health Care Services, your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Providing mobility assistance and transfers using proper techniques
- Supporting clients with medication reminders and daily routines
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Reporting changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors
✅ Qualifications
- Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized institution or IENs.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Previous experience in home care or community health is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to travel within the Niagara Region
